有一切你能想到的Griffith元素但因为非要搞一个密室悬疑detective thrill的背景而导致散漫又无趣。不管是剪辑摄影，演员表演，或是他偏爱的“以史喻今”式金句**，都给这么个本来该小巧轻便的本子套了一堆累赘（如果是一心一意搞romantic melodrama倒还会更有效些）。支线和角**特别sloppy，反转还很expectable…同类型人北欧导演从技法到意境都吊打【【【何况说是喜剧结果包袱全放blackness stereotype上？Romeo这个comic relief从头到尾都是个无辜者，但就因为是黑人所以要承受全部的humiliating traits。Black Sam碰一下白女会被打耳光，但Rockmaine碰只需要装模作样地道个歉就继续是“文明人”了，呵呵。
